Forged Products
Forging is a machining method for applying pressure onto metal blanks by using forging machinery to make them generate plastic deformation to obtain forgings with a certain mechanical properties, a certain shapes and dimensions, and is one of two constituent parts, forging and stamping. By forging, loose cast condition and other defects generated in the process of smelting metal can be eliminated, and the microstructure can be optimized; meanwhile, a complete metal flow line is stored, so the mechanical properties of forgings are generally superior to those of castings made of the same materials. Forgings are mostly applied to important parts with high loads and severe working conditions in related machines except plates, sections or welded parts which have simple shapes and can be used for rolling.
